“Baltų sodas”/Stones of History was created in 2018. The author of this educational project is Kęstutis Pangonis. “Baltų sodas”/Stones of History (hereinafter – the Garden) is dedicated to the historical memory of the Balts: past and present.
Currently, 28 monuments and sculptures can be viewed in the Garden. The main sculptor of the Garden is Valentinas Šimonėlis, and Rimantas Greičiūnas stone processing company in Utena.
The garden presents: the geographical historical distribution of the Balts, the Baltic languages, the history of Lithuania, the history of Latvia, Lithuanian and Baltic symbols, sculptures. Valentinas Šimonėlis is the author of the Vytis memorial stone in the area of the Battle of Žalgiris.
According to the poet Er Minija: "If we just want to keep the Motherland of our ancestors within us, it doesn't matter what language or baptism - our land is one for all of us."
