In the town itself, at the intersection of streets, the former Dubingiai tavern has been standing for the past two centuries. It was built in 1842 by Count Boleslovas Tiškevičius. Its owners changed several times. In 1968, the tavern was reconstructed and equipped with a lounge. It is the largest in eastern Lithuania. Preserved as a typical type of taverns from the first half of the 19th century, it is considered an architectural monument.
In 2008, after the reconstruction of the tavern, the Asveja Regional Park Visitor Center and Directorate settled there. In the visitor center, you can familiarize yourself with the "Mysteries of the Longest Lithuanian Lake, Archaeological Heritage" exposition, which was installed in 2013 and presents the natural and cultural values of the park, the exhibitions held here, as well as get interesting information about attractions, camping sites, and book excursions and hikes.
