The idea to build a chapel in this place came from Rita Varatinskienė from Skudutiškis. It was supported by Pranciškus Venskus, the then parson of Skudutiškis parish. The parishioners contributed in every way they could to the construction of the chapel. After collecting enough donations, the famous masters of many crosses and altars - A. and G. Juškos - were approached, who designed the chapel and carried out the construction work together with the local residents. In 1997, during the indulgences of the Holy Trinity held in May, the chapel was consecrated by Prelate Jonas Jonys, Vicar General of Kaišiadorys Diocese. Since then, the Skudutiškis chapel and the nearby stones with signs have been widely visited by both believers and tourists.
